Kunststof lager blokken van NG zijn ontwikkeld voor de voedselindustrie, waar men hoge eisen stelt aan de duurzaamheid van de onderdelen en ook hygiëne een grote rol speelt. Om het risico op bacteriën te verkleinen wordt het ontwerp gekenmerkt door gladde oppervlakken en ronde hoeken. De behuizing is IP66/IP67 en kan dus vanuit elke hoek met hogedruk worden gereinigd. Door het gebruik van een zegeling met RVS veer wordt voorkomen dat water in de behuizing kan komen. De lagers zijn onderhoudsvrij en bestand tegen alle schoonmaakmiddelen en de meeste chemicaliën. The NG bearings are waterproof and maintenance-free. They are designed with round corners and a smooth surface to reduce the risk of bacteria growth. NG flange bearings are very compact flange houses with the cover bolted on. The flange housing is made of PUR which is extremely sturdy. They can be cleaned with all types of cleaning products and most chemicals and are resitant to powerfull jets of water, as well as being capable of withstanding temporary immersion in water. By the use of oil seal ring with a stainless steel spring, water cannot penetrate the housing even at direct hosing. The housing is IP/66/67. BJ-Gear offers 5 different types of NG bearings.
